Opet, kao ni 99% ljudi koji su bili u WWE-u s tim da ovo nije baš ni tačno.

Subjektivno, meč sa Hartom na SS 97 je bio dobar i naravno tu su i famozni Hell in a Cellovi sa Michaelsom i Foleyem. Njegov feud na Mankindom 96. je takođe donio neke dobre momente.

Michaelsova krivica, ne Takerova. WM 13 je trebala imati revanš Hart-Michaels sa WM 12, ali je Michaels izgubio svoj smiješak jer nije htio izgubiti od Harta. Plus je cijeli WWF bio u kurcu u to vrijeme.

Ne znam koliki je bio buyrate WM 24 iskreno, ali Takerova priča sa Edgeom je bila dobra.

Taker se tu nije puno pitao. Vince je to bookao, uostalom Wyatta su daleko više pokopali Cena i Orton nego Taker.

1. Taker je bio veoma bitan dio HIAC-a 2009.
2. Istina je da su Cody i Ted maineventali, ali protiv koga? O da, protiv DX-a. Sigurno su za buyrate zaslužni Rhodes i DiBiase, a ne HHH i HBK.
3. Zbog čega ćemo svu krivicu svaliti na Takera? Od prošlog HIAC-a WWE se samo pogoršao, ubio je Nexus, super Cena je bio jači nego ikad, Sheamus je bio konstantno u priči oko WWE titule, ali ajd Taker je kriv za sve.

Ja bih rekao upravo suprotno, da je Taker uspio podići prestiž WHC i održati je koliko-toliko relevantnom (nije to samo njegova zasluga naravno, ali igrao je bitnu ulogu). Edge, Takerov protivnik u tom jedinom SD ME sa WHC titulom, je WHC odveo do openera na Maniji.

A da li je to Takerova krivica?
WM 13 - Michaelsova krivica, main event je objavljen tek sedmicu prije samog showa.

WM 24 - jbg, WM 23 je razbila rekorde, naravno da je sljedeća WM morala biti manje uspješna (s tim da je Taker veliki razlog uspjeha WM 23)

WM 26 - generalno loša Manija, Taker-Michaels je možda čak bio i meč koji je spasio show. Jer, gledaj ostatak carda, HHH-Sheamus, Orton-Rhodes-DiBiase, Cena-Batista, Hart-McMahon. Jednostavno loš card.

WM 33 - ovdje se više ne gledaju buyevi jer je već Network era. TBF, WWE je maksimalno preuveličao WM 32 tako da ko zna kako je ona stvarno prošla i kako se poredi sa WM 33

Pa šta? Tona likova koje svi vole je maineventalo i manje.

I Taker je bio jedan od glavnih razloga što je SD ostao koliko-toliko relevantan jer ga je kompanija očito smatrala manje važnim od Rawa. Mislim, 2004. SD šampion je bio JBL, dok su se na Rawu oko titule borili Benoit, Trips, Michaels i Orton.

Sram ga bilo.

Tu bi se jedino slozio sa tim da je pokopao mlade zvijezde. I vjerujem da bar on ima nekakav pull kod Vincea i da moze reci 'mislim da ovo nije dobra ideja'. I slozio bih se da mu je biker Taker mracan period u karijeri, ali je i tu znao imati dobre matcheve. Ostalo su bezvezarije. Jest zabavno srati po Takeru i njegovim kavez matchevima, ali napomene radi, zadnja dva matcha u kavezu koje je imao (2012 - Trips, 2015 - Lesnar) su dobili preko 4* od Meltzera.
That said, vrijeme mu je davno proslo i danas vise ne moze imati isti impakt kao prije. To pokazuje i to da ratinzi padaju i sa njim tu.
