počela je sezona kada se izbacuju filmovi koji se bore za nominacije u 2020.

idemo diskutirati glasine i uloge koje dobivaju buzz-ove za nadolazece Oscare!

Film Parasite da uzme svoje sto se uzeti moze posto je sasvim zasluzeno pobedio Tarantinov Holivud u Kanu.
A od glumaca bi morao Pit da ponese oskara.

Maestralan film. Ponovo me korejci bacaju na dupe svojim miksovanjem zanrova. Ponovo su inovativni, imaju ideje... kraj bas u njihovom fazonu.

Ponovo Bong Joon pokazuje da je GOAT azije i generalno jedan od najvecih rezisera ikada. Kang ho Song glavni glumac takodje vrlo verovatno azijski GOAT medju glumcima. Kombinacija koja nije mogla da zajebe.

Društvena satira, obiteljska drama, triler i horror istovremeno, a opet savršeno izbalansirano. Korejci su majstori za te žanrovske hibride, ali ne vjerujem da će dobiti neku pažnju na razini Oscara. Zato se filmovi dokazuju na festivalima, film koji tako dobro prođe ima više kredibiliteta nego da bude nagrađen na još jednoj holivudskoj političkoj orgiji.

There’s a good, Boiler Room-like of story here – outer-borough, working-class kids finding a way to slice themselves a piece of Manhattan’s one-percent pie – although this film’s simple you-go-girl attitude avoids any moral judgements. Still, it’s hard not to be on these women’s side, with the excellent female cast including Lopez, Constance Wu, Cardi B and Julia Stiles, as the poised, preppy reporter interviewing them (and occasionally raising a judgemental eyebrow – only to be quickly told off). Lopez, who also produced, is particularly fierce, owning the film the way her character owns that stripper pole, strutting into every scene and only leaving once you’re begging her not to.

Wu, who broke out with what I found to be a rather flat and charmless turn in Crazy Rich Asians, is far more effective here, slickly switching between vulnerable and manipulative and while there are equally effective performances from Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart and Akeelah and the Bee’s Keke Palmer, the film really, truly belongs to J-Lo. Blessed with one of the most memorable entrances in recent cinema history (pole-dancing to Fiona Apple’s Criminal and met with a swarm of money), Lopez slinks through Hustlers with a deceptive ease, as in control of the film as her character is of her situation. It’s the sort of role that only a true movie star could pull off, so much of it reliant on a rare, intoxicating magnetism. It’s all too easy to view her acting career as starting and ending with Out of Sight and she has coasted in some frustratingly mediocre films since, but she’s always remained a captivating screen presence. She’s so perfectly calibrated as Ramona that it feels like she’s been unintentionally building toward it for years. Awards attention would be deserved but a far greater result would be a more expansive set of roles in her future.
